Privacy
We keep only what signing in and your reports need.
The binbox.ai website collects nothing about you. The BInbox app at app.binbox.ai keeps your sign-in details and the files your client account saves. We do not sell any of it or use it for advertising.
The website
It shows pages. It sets no cookies. It runs no scripts in your browser and uses no analytics. Fonts and pictures are served from binbox.ai itself, so no other company sees that you were here.
try.binbox.ai runs a demo of the product on a made-up dataset. It works entirely in your browser: nothing you do there is sent anywhere. It keeps the demo's own settings and data in your browser's storage, on your device only, so the page opens as you left it; clearing the site's data removes them.
Signing in to the app
BInbox is by invitation: an administrator of your company's client account gives us your email address to invite you. Once you have an account we keep your email address, your role in each client account, and when you last signed in.
If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, that account shares your name and email address with us, and Google also shares a link to your profile picture. We ask for nothing else from those accounts and never see your password. We use these details only to sign you in and to show your account's administrators who its members are.
What stays in your browser
Your sign-in session is kept in your browser's storage, not in a cookie, and signing out ends it on our side at once. The app also remembers, in your browser only, which client account you last used, your layout and settings, and the last file you opened so that Reload can open it again. None of that is sent to us.
A copy of BInbox opened from a file on your computer works without signing in and sends nothing to us.
Files your account saves
When someone uses Save to BInbox, the file is stored in that client account with who saved it and when. Only the account's members can open it, and viewers see only what is shared with them. Our server reads a saved file to count its rows and describe its columns, and for nothing else.
The account keeps a log of saved files, shares and member changes, with who made each one. These files belong to the client company, whose owners and administrators decide who sees them.
We send sign-in links and invitations from binbox.ai. You can reach us at contact@binbox.ai; we keep your message to answer it and to follow up on what you asked.
Where it is kept
Supabase holds the app's accounts, files and logs in its US East (Ohio) region. Vercel serves the app, Resend sends our email and Cloudflare serves binbox.ai. Like any host, each handles the request data needed to deliver a page, such as your IP address, under its own privacy policy.
Seeing or deleting your data
Write to contact@binbox.ai to see what we hold about you or to have it deleted. Files a client account saved belong to that company, so we delete those at the request of its owner.
